Under 17 Youth
Cherry Burton U17s started in 2005 as a group of 5 year olds from the village training on a Saturday morning at the playing field. Numbers soon swelled to include the majority of the boys in the year group at the village school as well as a number from Beverley. At the U7 age group the team joined the then East Yorkshire Junior Football League. Considerable success was had at mini-soccer and numbers allowed two teams to be established. In 2009/10 the two teams joined the Hull Boys Sunday League U10s age group. On moving to 11-a-side the team entered the Wyke Division and achieved promotion in the first season. A number of years followed challenging at the top end of the Drypool Division and promotion to the Myton League was finally achieved as U15s in 2014/15. The team today still contains a handful of players who have been with the club from the very start, some who have returned following spells at other clubs and others who have joined in more recent seasons.
